No. The self-check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers and no email is required. If you want a written assessment from an attorney, use the H-2B intake form on the landing page — that is a separate, opt-in step.

What does the score actually mean?

Each question maps to one of the five compliance areas the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division and OFLC integrity reviews focus on for H-2B employers — temporary-need test, NPWC prevailing wage, multi-step recruitment, three-fourths guarantee, and 3-year records retention. Each answer is weighted 0, 1, or 2 based on whether it reflects standard practice, a watch item, or a pattern that an investigator would treat as exposure. The overall band is the sum across all five.

Why these five areas and not others?

These five areas account for the majority of H-2B back-wage and civil-money-penalty findings in published WHD enforcement summaries, plus the OFLC integrity-review failure modes that revoke a TLC. There are obviously other obligations — transportation reimbursement, deductions, in-season job-order changes, housing if the employer chose to provide it — and the full intake covers them. The self-check is built to be honest in four minutes, not exhaustive.

Does a 'Low exposure' result mean I'm safe in an audit?

It means the five areas this self-check examines are running at or above standard on the day you took it. It does not mean every other obligation is in order, and it does not mean the next OFLC integrity review or WHD audit will not surface a finding. Use the result as one data point alongside payroll review, the recruitment-file walkthrough, and three-fourths-guarantee tracking.
